Awana SkyWay Genting Highlands

Awana SkyWay is the new cable car, connecting Awana Transport Hub (1,105 metres above sea level), Chin Swee Temple and SkyAvenue (1,725 metres above sea level). Opened in August 2016, it is able to carry up to 3600 passengers per hour, and take 10 minutes ride from Awana Transport Hub to final station at SkyAvenue.

Visitors may choose to park their vehicles at Awana Transport Hub, where 4,437 car parking lots and 633 motorbike parking lots available, and take the cable car up to the SkyAvenue Station. Parking fees is currently free but will gradually introduced.

There are 2 types of gondola available:
  1. Standard gondola
    The basic gondola which can carry 10 passengers per ride.
  2. Glass floor gondola
    A more expensive glass-floored gondola which able visitors to enjoy the bird eye view beneath the cable car. It can carry 6 passengers per ride.
